For the current price and what's included, see the pricing details on our home page.
What you'll see at each stage
- New account. You can create your first book. Doing so starts the trial automatically.
- Trial (7 days). Full access to write. Home shows a banner offering the purchase, with a Get Now button.
- Purchased. A year of access plus one print credit. Home shows "N days left to write your book". In the final 30 days you'll see a Renew Now offer for another year of writing and one more printed copy.
- Expired. Every screen leads to "Your access has ended", with Get Your Book – $99, Redeem a Gift Code and Sign out. Your story and your book are kept. Writing resumes the moment you purchase.
The Billing page
Open it from Account → Billing. It shows your current status, the date your trial ends or your access runs until, your print credits, and the actions:
- Get Your Book — $99
- Extend Your Access
- Restore Purchases, for a reinstall or a new device. On your phone, purchases go through the App Store or Google Play. On the web, checkout is through Paddle.
If a purchase isn't showing up, see My purchase isn't showing after a reinstall.
Gift codes
Been given a code by family or friends? Go to Account → Redeem Gift Code, enter the XXXX-XXXX-XXXX code, and tap Redeem Code. Access unlocks without a card. This works from the "Your access has ended" screen too.
Your printed copy
The purchase includes one printed copy. You use it from the print order form, where it shows as a "Free Print Credit". See Ordering a printed copy or ebook.
