Exporting your book
Turning your chapters into a PDF or Word document, what the options do, and why you might see 'Unlock Exports'.

Open it from Book Settings → Export Book.
Export your book
- Choose a format: PDF ("Best for reading and printing") or Word Document ("Best for editing").
- Set the options: Include Cover Page, Include Table of Contents (with page numbers), and Include Images.
- Tap Generate PDF or Generate Word Document. The file is assembled from your finished chapters and placed images, then downloads automatically.
An on-screen export preview shows the paginated book with its table of contents ("Page N of M") and offers a Print action for a quick home print.
Only written chapters appear in an export. Chapters still at the outline stage are left out.
"Unlock Exports"
Exporting is available once your book has been purchased. If you see Unlock Exports, your account doesn't have an active purchase. See Trial, purchase and access, or the quick fix at "Unlock Exports" when exporting.
